Love this place! Glad they filled in the gruesome potholes at the entrance, not as rough getting in there now!
It was fairly quiet. The only problem I saw, personally, was getting down to the river might be a little tough for people with disabilities because it's slightly uphill. If you just want to relax and drop a line in the water, it's pretty decent.
Family fun park, filled with exciting activities, such as canoeing, fishing, swinging, and nature walks. Tall cottonwood trees are abound with tall grasses swaying in the cool breeze. Big boulders surround the grass areas, which adds additional safety and keeps cars where they should be. Handicapped accessible spots to park. Near a waterfront restaurant.
Place is close to a restaurant with the name Coriander which has a place for canoeing with a guide. Offer enough parking and frequently used by fishermen.
Great place to hike through the woods with a dog or a toddler. There is a defined trail that goes along the canal to the river.
