Next level good coming from big sushi lovers! The tokyo styled nigiri was insane. Best in Boulder, and we’ve lived here 42 years! Great sharing service where they all help, not just one server! Will be our new spot!

The best sushi in Boulder. I guarantee. The green mochi with strawberry in the center was one of the best desserts i think I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The service was super nice, and the atmosphere was top????, highly recommend going out to dinner here. They deserve all the attention! On a fall night their service and the miso soup warmed my heart and my soul!!! Thanks for the amazing food sushi chefs, I never thought I would be so stunned by fish this far from an ocean!

We were craving some good Japanese food and our favorite place in Boulder was packed, so we dropped in here about 8:45 to a fairly empty restaurant. However, we were greeted warmly and immediately and were given a table within 30 seconds on a Friday night. We ordered sake, beer, and a few apps. The agedashi tofu was above average, though the broth was unusually thick. The fried squid legs were very good, as well. The shrimp shumai was pretty good, but we didn’t think it was worth the price. For mains, we ordered a couple of fatty bluefin rolls and the sashimi moriawase. The rolls were quite good (especially the hand roll), and while the sashimi was above average, it wasn’t worth the steep price for so little fish and the mediocre presentation. We will go back here, though, because we found it to be the second best Japanese restaurant in Boulder and it wasn’t crowded.

Bright and peaceful ambiance in a cozy, nicely laid out dinning room. The excellent service was prompt and friendly. Starting with the miso soup, all of the food was delicious. The softshell crab, baked salmon roll, crab roll, shrimp dumpling, udon soup, and red bean mochi were all freshly prepared, beautifully presented, and delicious. Soporro is available on draft.

Best sushi spot in Boulder hands down. Service is fantastic, food is amazing, and the atmosphere is always on point even when busy. Ultra/friendly staff and melt in your mouth, high quality cuts of fish, traditionally prepared. Might be my favorite sushi spot in Colorado. Highly recommend this gem of a restaurant!
