I visited the Abbey restaurant recently, encouraged by some good opinions I'd found here. The food was OK, but unfortunately, I'd never met such bad customer service. Also, nowadays, when owners and restaurant staff are under such a big pressure, I haven't experienced such big rudeness in any other place. I was served by a lady who seemed not to be really interested in customers' needs. The lady was very rude and aggressive in the way she talked to me. Instead of explaining in a polite way what she wanted to say, she verbally attacked me, almost shouting, not even being interested in my reply. Not mentioning the lack of any politeness like 'I'm sorry' when she served the uncompleted order next. The food was OK but no better than in other local restaurants, which for sure offer much better customer service not only meeting the clients' needs but also exceeding them.Maybe the lady had a bad day, but still, it doesn't mean she was allowed to treat people that way, especially her clients who leave money there. Certainly, I will not come back there.
