Akasya is a great introduction to Turkish cuisine and excellent value. A feast for two was ordered for little more than £30 and our drinks were given to us free. The staff were also quite friendly - helpful with ensuring me that food was safe from nut contamination. I would recommend this restaurant for anyone with food allergies and hesitant to try new food.I generally shy away from spicy food, but was glad to find that my chicken breasts were were most delicious and quite tolerable in terms of spice. For those who prefer lots of spice in their food, there are other options including the chicken wings that my friend could attest to. The service was fast as well and came over to ask if everything was alright. It’s these small things that show customers that they care and can help form loyal regulars. It is important for restaurants to ensure their menu offers a wide variety of food suitable for all their customers. I didn’t plan to come here initially. KO Grill was my initial choice, but upon learning that traces of nuts would be inevitable in anything they cooked, we left and went to Akasya where I was delighted to find they could cater for me. For this reason, I commend such establishments for their efforts in inclusive dining.
