So expensive and for ridiculously small portions…when it first opened about 8 years ago, this cafe was so great and across that time the prices have rocketed and the portions shrunk. It’s a real shame as it’s my local park and I think if it’s going to have a cafe that many more would be able to enjoy if it was so ridiculously overpriced. Today I spent £11.95 and was given two pieces of cold gluten free toast (can be sourdough) spread with mashed beans, with a sprinkling of seeds and feta, 3 thin slices of tomatoes and a tiny amount of rocket…Insane! I went in to complain and was told they don’t set the prices (I wish I’d asked for a refund as I’m still annoyed about it now!), told me to email to complain, which I will also do.
I won’t be eating or ordering from there again, which is sad as it would be so nice.
In comparison to the Crystal Palace branch, Mayow Park is neglected and forgotten. Wish they’d review their pricing/portions or pass the space onto someone who isn’t completely out of touch with their offering.
