My young daughters were alerted by the flashing check engine light as they traveled across country on their first solo road trip. They called me (300 miles away) and I told them to stop at the next exit while I tried to find help. I found Davis Car repair near them with good reviews and called. Though it was nearly closing time, as I explained the situation, Jeff Davis agreed to take a look. He had them on the road in less than an hour at a very reasonable cost and declined on my offer of a tip, saying it was more important that they keep the extra money with them til they arrived safely in Florida.
