I've driven by this place for years and gave a nod to the legs of the poor guy stuck in a 40 gallon barrel all these years. I went to Dolly's for the 50th of a very good friend. Not expecting much from the venue as soon as I walked in the door that all changed it is full of character and of course characters. Staff are so friendly and accommodating. As a mon drinker there is only so much soft drinks I can take so I generally head for water and coffee. Unfortunately they don't do coffee but they offered me instant coffe that they use themselves for break. I will not pretend to be a coffee connoisseur but I know battery acid produced by the finest barristas when I drink it but maybe it was the water but the nescafe mild blend was like silk and they would not accept payment for it they said our group bought enough drink that they could afford to keep me in coffee all night as I was driving people home. By the way this pub is in the middle of nowhere but they provide a car service to get people home safe. I had a great night made new friends in a great pub with an amazing atmosphere. No wonder my friend had her party here.
