I normally do not like leaving poor reviews but important to take note on before dining here.
My friend has a SEVERE allergy to melon. For this reason, we asked for the side of potatoes instead of fruit. We noted that both our meals came with the side melon instead of what we asked for. I kindly went up to the cashier and addressed this. A man that was working today (June 28) gave us back both our meals with a side of potatoes but still the same sandwiches the fruit touched.
Obviously if it was not a severe allergy where my friend could die, I would not have bothered to request different sandwiches, but as we are in close contact and seated next to each other, I would never take that risk. I then requested the sandwiches would need to be remade as it was a severe allergy. The rude man working laughed and said "oh, you have an allergy too" After explaining how severe the allergy was that my friend had.
No apologies were given and nothing was done. Just received horrible behavior and made to feel bad that we had a severe allergy in the group. Hopefully allergies will be taken a bit more seriously and not made for the customer to made uncomfortable After paying $32 for two sandwiches.
