I only go into the tavern to get my Thai food. Every time I walk in I am immediately hit by the cloud of cigarette smoke that has come in from the outdoor smoking area and just sits inside the tavern. I can no longer go in this tavern because it sets of my asthma and that means my partner has to go in and get our food. Last night he went in to get our food, he was in there for a total of 2 minutes and came out smelling like a chain smoker just from standing in the tavern (not the smoking area) for 2 MINUTES! The worst part was the fact that there were little kids in the tavern eating dinner inhaling this for who knows how long. This tavern is a health and safety hazard and something needs to be done.There is clearly some sort of ventilation problem that the owners and staff are ignoring. This is not a one time incident, this has been an ongoing issue for over 6 months. Not good enough Kariong Tavern.
