My wife & I were very disappointed to find that this (Maryborough St) cafe does not comply with current Covid laws.
Neither the register staff member nor waitress serving food to tables were wearing masks. I asked the waitress about that and was told she cannot cook with a mask. But she was actually serving customers at their tables. I calmly told her it is required by law only to get a shoulder shrug reply.
Staff are courteous but that is not good enough.
Omicron virus will soon be prevalent in Bundaberg and this lack of professionalism can only worsen its spread.
