Very disappointing. We have been coming here for 12 years for fish & chips as part of our holiday. The food was always first class quality, cooked perfectly chunky chips that were crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle, lovely white fish and crispy batter. The last 3 visits before yesterday have been hit and miss with a distinct reduction in quality but we thought it may be Covid causing supply issues etc. Yesterday's visit was the worst to date although the fish was perfectly cooked the fish batter was soggy and it appears that the frozen skinny soggy chips are the norm now. I think you could get this same quality at any of the other fish & chip outlets in the town at a far more competitive price. We certainly will on our next visit.
