We were rolling in to Murphy after a day of riding and we were looking for a good place to eat before heading to our cabin. Parson's Pub had good reviews so we stopped in for supper.
I was surprised to find that it was actually an Irish pub with Irish food options and not just a theme. We all ordered something different. The corn beef and cabbage, Sheppard's pie, and chicken pot pie were great. The corn beef was a little dry but was still good. The Guinness beer cheese is delicious.
They had a great beer selection and the Guinness on tap was as good as it gets. I highly recommend Parson's Pub for those that enjoy a good local atmosphere and Irish style cuisine.
It is worth noting that if you want wine, this is a pub, not a winery.
