I wasn't impressed when we walked in but one of my friends said that sometimes places looking awful had the best tasting, authentic food. Server was pleasant and took our order quickly. We had asked for the food to come out together so the four of us could eat the same time. Two meat platters came out first and it was then a 10 minute wait for two soups to come along with two of our three sides. Another 10 minutes for the last main but no sight of the last side (this was eventually cancelled off the bill). Another server argued with us about the last starter not being ordered in the first place but the original server confirmed at the end of the meal that he would remove it from the bill. Both of the meat platters had duck which was basically inedible fat, bones (including one side of a ribcage) and even a windpipe we believed. Authentic or not, I can't see the point of serving food which cannot be eaten. We complained to the original server who argued that it was edible but declined to take up our offer to do so. One of my friends said both of her soups were lovely, and another that the crispy noodle dish was good but he couldn't tell what the meat was as it was rather gray. Not a great experience overall and we definitely would not go back. We should have gone to the Golden Dragon over the road which had a queue each time we had walked past.
