I remember this as "the Robin Hood" and will always be that.
I was dismayed that the beautiful artwork on the wall had been painted over... And a bird had been put there instead... The pub was much as I remember it. A new "walled garden" at the front gives a pleasant atmosphere, but the place is showing signs of damage after the recent storms (that has not been fixed yet). Prices weren't "too" painful on the wallet. Staff were very polite and friendly, and went way beyond what is expected from the norm...
The outside heater wasn't working on our visit, and it was a tad chilly, which has a negative effect on my narrative, but overall, the company I was in, made those irritations pale into insignificance.
It's been a while since I "went out" and socialised. So the cost of a quick pint down the pub was a shock....
