I'm not too far from this venue. I won't lie the food is decent on a Sunday; however, some of the staff are miserable.
On two occasions now, I have been in the middle of watching something in the front bar when without warning, they have changed what is on the screens; this time, I was watching the Munster hurling final in an Irish bar! When they switched it off for the wales football game. I let out a roar of Oi to ask why (as I said in the middle of the match no warning) when the staff came over and said they were changing it as nobody was watching; a brief exchange happened as I explained I obviously was, but she didn't seem to understand this, and at this point told me to go into the other bar I was mid pint and feed not the optimum time to switch bars.
It's not the fact they switch it off; it’s that they don't even have the decency to tell anyone that they are about to change it. It’s usually the same staff as well; service isn’t their strong point.
