Fine dining it is not, fine food it is... We kept it simple, a plain hamburger, a fish burger and chips. Simple and beautiful. My burger took me back" to the good old days" and everything that was good about life before everything was whoppered and maccered and filled with eeech! The chips, such a divine slice of beautifully cooked potato, cooked to perfection and tasting like a chip with no oily after taste They are hard to come by these days but that is because they have been hiding at the Captain Cook store! No wonder the man and lady who were working there could look you in the eye with warmth in the eyes and smiles on their faces. Good food, well priced and honest. Loved it.
