Retired in Katoomba after living in Potts Point and suddenly had a yearning for a kebab. Checked out the two shops and there were rave reviews about Cedar . I’ve often seen long lines outside what is a very small, narrow shop . This time , eventually parked ( nightmare ) and duly joined the line . Elected the snack pack ( beef and chips ) for $14 . Lovely guy helped when saying I wanted something really spicy . It was absolutely worth the wait . I don’t know if it’s the best in the world as stated in a review but I can say after decades of kebabs in different countries this was the best in a country mile ! The thinly sliced beef was delicious and beautifully cooked . The spicy sauce was awesome and the chips really good . You pay about $15.50 for fish and chips and this was way more satisfying . So ……believe the hype !
A few days later , tried the classic kebab . Well worth it and equals the hype !
