Nice little asian-inspired vegan (well, 90% of the menu is vegan, the other 2 or 3 dishes are vegetarian) restaurant.
Wife and I started with the gyoza, which was a very good size to share between 2 and the veg dumplings (more traditional 1-person entree size), before having the teriyaki udon noodle with shitake stem 'meatballs', and mock pork with black pepper sauce.
I could have had a whole bowl of the fried wonton skins that came with the dumplings, while the chili oil packed a nice little kick of heat.
And while the shitake 'meatballs' and mock pork would never be mistaken for the real thing, both were delicious with the mock pork being especially surprising.
The only negatives I had, personally, was the drinks menu. If you like a wine or beer with your meal, this is not the place for you, as there's none on offer. The soft drinks also are not quite your typical offerings, being organic and tasting just different enough from the norm to raise an eyebrow.
Otherwise, service was friendly (if perhaps a tad reserved), food came out quickly and the atmosphere was simple and relaxed.
We'll definitely be going back again and would recommend to anyone looking for something a little different.
