I have recently moved to the area and have been looking for a decent cafe for light lunches and bites to eat and stumbled across this on the way to Grately station, and resolved to visit.
I visited for a working lunch with some colleagues from my office and ordered a Bacon & Egg sandwich with a side of chips.
Fully expecting the usual two slices and tiny egg I was surprised to see a loaded bun with an egg that still has a yolk. It was cooked to perfection with a crisp bite that allows more flavour through.
The service was good. It was very busy and there was a slight wait but it wasn’t long and enough time to get some Sun before the food arrived.
The menu has a selection for all. Burgers to salads, Baps and baguettes. Very good.
Good prices, polite staff and good food. Will visit again.
