Had an opportunity to try Sukunda just before few days we were in Melbourne. Without exaggerating too much, it has to be one of best in terms of Nepalese food being offered in Australia.
Almost all food venues alter the ingredients to cater to all, and in the process they lose authenticity. Sukunda has tried its best to stay genuine to real Nepalese taste and they have by far succeeded in their effort. During our visit we saw not just Nepalese but other nationals including Aussies enjoying their spicy cuisine such as Choyla and others. I believe this is what people want. They want to indulge in authentic taste from various part of the world in their backyard rather than crowd pleasing westernized menu.
