Authentic, fresh, and delicious Chinese food. The string beans were the standout favorite. We also had the eggplant, tofu skin, home style tofu, egg and tomato, and er kuai - all were excellent.I lived in Yunnan for several years and found this restaurant because they have er kuai - one of my favorite regional specialties. Er kuai 饵块 isn’t listed on the menu, but I’d seen in another review they will make it. They use the Korean style rice cakes you can get at the Asian supermarket, but it was prepared very similarly to how I’ve had it in Southwest China stir fried with sour vegetables and egg. I definitely recommend ordering this savory rice cake dish when you visitAs for the negative reviews - my guess is they aren’t used to authentic Chinese food.
