I went to Base Broadbeach and I was overall extremely disappointed. I was told after ordering that the food was going to be a 35 minute wait which I said I was happy to wait for. After waiting for an hour our food finally arrived. It was disappointing to say the least. I ordered a club sandwich and chips, my chips were cold with no salt so not worth the wait at all and my club sandwich was cold. My friend also ordered poached eggs on toast, the toast was served cold but burnt. Finally, my third friend ordered corn fritters and they were two tiny corn fritters on the plate for $18.50 which was over priced. The wait time was much longer than we were advised and we got served cold, under seasoned, burnt food. It was as if it was over cooked and then left out to go cold. Won’t be returning.
