Tried to register my daughter with this practice. My daughter has a rare genetic condition and is at risk of aorta bursting. Had 2 spinal surgeries few years back and is in real pain. 2 lovely ladies ( one was the receptionist and the 2nd one was a nurse, I think) were really understanding regarding the emergency and asked me to fill some files for the doctors to review. I was asked to also bring all her medical records. In the day I got there with all the medical records( around 200 files), other lady was at the reception which was very busy so she asked a lady from the back office, the admin I think to come and speak with me....very rude, a bully and a rasist. Started shouting at me and asking me why I filled those forms because she has to tell 10 people every day that they don't have spaces for new patients. I bearely could say something because she wouldn't let me speak. I asked her if it would made any difference if my daughter would have had an Irish passport ( citizenship) and she answered that ''it would had made a big difference if she would have been Irish''. I do not wish anyone to have kids with kind of disease, not even to her. I do understand the amount of people that require a gp but this was an emergency as she needed uregently to be sent to the cardio and orthopedic specialist in Dublin. I am looking now to lodge a complain with HSE and The Medical Board. If something is happening with my daughter, I will keep her responsible for it.
