Perhaps too late in the day...about 2.10pm after a long meeting I called in for a main meal - my lunch. Ordered a chicken schnitzel, chips and salad and a black coffee. Food presented very quickly. I asked the lovely young staffer if the chicken was precooked as it had a strange texture, her manager (perhaps the owner) said she could cook another. I didn't see the logic in cooking another when told it would be from the same batch! (Guessing not prepared in house) I didn't eat it...just the chips and salad for me! I could hear the manager asking, "is she eating it, is she eating it" however not speaking to me directly. Coffee hot but no 'crema' layer expected with a long black coffee. No offer to cook / prepare an alternative, no offer of a cabinet product, no offer of a discount, no apology. The young staffer was polite and I was aware the situation was out of her control.
