The staff is VERY friendly - a service with a nice smile. I had slight difficulty ordering because the young lady at the counter didn’t appear to be fluent in English, but she was proficient enough to get the order correct - not a big issue.
You order at the counter and they bring the food/drinks to your table. Simple.
I had the chicken and mayo sandwich. I’d give the sandwich a 7 or 8 out of 10. A tangy sauce reminded me of the sweet and sour dressing used in Vietnamese banh mi, so a new take on a chicken and mayo sandwich.
I also had a long black which was fine, though a bit lighter than most.
The place is clean, staff friendly, and very busy and popular from what I can tell.
I’m new to Brighton so not too familiar with what’s available on Church Street, but will definitely come back.
