This may sound strange but I've never really noticed this pub before. We were in Bray to admire the lights but we were somewhat disappointed by them. So walking along the seaside we stopped at O'Driscolls for a Christmas pint. We would have gone inside for the warmth but we had our dogs with us so outside it was. There was no external heating, just a couple of tables and chairs. My wife got the first round while I went in for the second which was dropped out to us by a lovely barman who chatted to us for about 10 minutes. Inside was pleasant and it looked busy but not too busy. COVID certs were asked for but as we were drinking out in the cold (his words) we didn't need to show ours. I'm not sure if they serve meals but we had two packets of Manhattan crisps which are lovely. We would have stayed for another drink but I was too cold and I needed to go home for some warmth. So we asked our daughter to come collect us, we had done enough walking to get here. It would be nice if they provided some form of outside heating as it's a pleasant seating area where you can watch the world go by.
