Initially my frustration started when, after calling early in the morning when on my 12hr day shift commute, this particular store was never open at 5am as the opening hours stated. After a lengthy exchange of emails through customer service, I finally got a simple reason why from the store manager Jordan, who, funnily enough, served me this morning. It is an issue with updating the opening hours on Google that was the problem bit assured me, from 1st April they would resume opening at 5am.
Sure enough they were open this morning. The bright lights were like the star of Bethlehem to me. A lovely welcome and usual allergy question were beautiful to hear over the tannoy. So so glad theyre open from 5am again.
A few months ago, I found out it opened at 5am. Fantastic timing for me to grab an extra shot latte before the commute to Bradford for a 6am shift start. After a few times its never open! The last 7 or 8 times there is nobody there. Through the week its fine as Costa is open across the road. I do prefer Starbucks but Im afraid its been so disappointing that Ive stopped trying. Its a shame as the times I have been the staff have been lovely and the drinks spot on.
