We visited Chop Stix because of a 4.8 overall rating and the glowing reviews. We were very disappointed.
After arriving, we discovered this is a takeout place which has a small dining area for those who choose to eat in. We chose to eat in. There were three in our group and we all ordered different meals most of which were thrown away uneaten.
Our meals were delivered to our table in aluminum trays with no dividers to separate the meat/sauce from the rice. An egg roll was placed on top of the rice. To reinforce the fast-food atmosphere, there were no plates and only plasticware was available.
Most of my chicken was so crisp I could neither stab it with my plastic fork nor cut it with my plastic knife. The rice which was served with the meal was yellow rice with onion bits and a few green peas to simulate fried rice, I suppose. It was not good either.
I realize this review contradicts the 4.8 overall rating mentioned earlier, but we disliked our experience so much we will not return.
