Its a smallish, sheltered Rose Garden.
This is not its best season, and it is still worth a drop in and visit.
The garden is very much in development for the summer season, and watching the person building one of the many displays was fun.
It is a great place to stop, sit (covered gazebo for rainy days) and enjoy the scents of nature.
There is a kids play zone and public toilet just a few paces away, complete with public picnic shelters and cooking stands.
The park is quite dog friendly, but most of the park spaces do require a leash for your pets. There is an off leash space on the far side of the baseball field.
