The DSC has been a 'go-to' for me ever since I was a kid, back when the cafe was actually still on David Street. And I'm pleased to say this little gem of a caff, hasn't changed a one bit.Granted, the food isn't what you'd call 'gourmet'. If you're after something poncy like smoked salmon or sushi, do an about turn & book a table @ Harvey Nicks. BUT... if you're after honest homemade grub that's sensational value for money, then look no further! Their Steak Pie Dinners & Giant Breakfasts are to die for! Plus, here you get bread & butter with literally everything, as well as a complimentary cuppa too. To be honest, it's hard to find a cafe that's more Yorkshire. If Google would let me, I'd give it 10 PS/ If you're reading this John, please for the life of you bring back Christmas Dinner!!
