Truck lost all its air pressure and wouldn’t build back up. Couldn’t hear any leaks, couldn’t see anything, disconnected air dryer lines and bypassed the dryer still no air pressure, checked air compressor for air pressure it was fine. After calling 3 other places, one of them said they were on the way two different times and never showed up, another one showed to be located in Decatur but when the mechanic called he said it was at least a 45 minute drive from Cullman for $270. plus their hourly rate, third one didn’t have anyone to make road calls as their ad stated. So, then I called these guys, they were there in approximately 20 minutes, not one mechanic but two and one was actually the owner. They didn’t waste any time from start to finish. As I started telling the issue, what I had checked and done, they started looking and checking themselves as I talked, after checking the things that would normally cause the problem, one mechanic started checking lines, then went underneath truck and started from the front within 10 or 15 minutes he decided to take the air from their service truck and the owner called the shop for another mechanic to run them a cut off valve so they could fill the air tank and release the valve and fill the lines quickly so the problem would show up, since it was bad enough that it wasn’t letting any air build up enough to be heard. The leak showed right up as soon as the valve was opened. These guys were great!!! Smart, quick, polite and didn’t act like I was just some dumb lady which I tend to get a lot of out here on the road. Also, the owner didn’t try to take advantage of me or drain my wallet dry.
If I ever break down near Decatur or have problems I’ll be calling them right off the bat, no hesitation period. If you need road service or work done call them.
Thank you guys very much!!!
