Never been to Nelson Bay before, thought the place looked nice to eat at. Upon arrival we were greeted by a friendly young man.
We asked the staff member if a substitute was possible with our meal and they said yes (with a slight increase in payment, which we were fine with).
However, when we went to order our food and asked for the food substitution, we were flat out refused because they said it was an inconvenience to the chef's. I was also astounded that we were refused a glass of water; something every other restaurant is able to do without fuss.
Needless to say I will never come back here, I hope the owner recognises the staff were put in these embarrassing positions.
