Went to a friends wedding reception, great food and nice venue. Street parking wasn’t actually too bad to find considering how busy Canley Vale road can be on a weekend night. Parked on Peel st.
We had a Vietnamese seafood banquet, the food was delicious and generous in their serving.
The only negative was the state of the bathrooms by the end of the night, a bad smell was coming out and the whole foyer/room area smelled bad. Probably more of a reflection of the guests than the venue.
At the end of the night, I went to ask one of the staff members for a glass of water for my partner, and she seemed annoyed and said the bars closed. One of her colleagues, Harry who had been working with us in running the night, who was great to deal with, heard this and grabbed a glass and gave it to his colleague and told her to grab water for me, she obliged.
The wait staff brought down the spare alcohol from the night and let us park the car underground and loaded our cars with spare alcohol and food that had been paid for. A very nice touch by Harry and the Crystal Palace team.
