I was getting some work done on my car at MyCar Rochedale and the manager told me it was going to take about 1.5 hours. He suggested I try the Rochedale Shopping Village up the road for a coffee while I was waiting.The Gathering Spot Café was my choice. You could see that this must be a local gathering spot and a very popular one with the amount of foot traffic that was wandering in and out. There were also large groups that were seated in the outdoor settings, all talking and discussing today's events while enjoying the various food options that they had ordered.I ordered Carrot cake that came with a generous helping of whipped cream to go with the coffee. My order was ready to go in a matter of minutes, served with a smile, the coffee and cake absolutely delicious.The Gathering Spot Café has a very extensive all day menu with gluten free options available.There is plenty of parking in the shopping centre car park with a Super Market, Hairdresser, Bakery, Newsagent, Fitness Club, Toilets and other speciality shops nearby.
