I used to frequent this shop 2-3 times a week, Hanasa has the best Takeaway BBQ chicken in over a 12 km radius... Unfortunately they have reduced their operational hours, they don't stick to those reduced hours and everytime I visit they have run out of BBQ chicken as they don't prepare enough because they reduces their hours, all that is left is the Portuguese style chicken which don't like. I recently moved away from Ryde and have driven 12 km on multiple occasions only to be disappointed.
Look, you have a great product and I know that your struggling because of the greedy and unreasonable landlord, with the cost of petrol as it is, customers like myself can't justify driving to your store just to find out you closed early or didn't prep enough stock. If you keep being unreliable then your going to loose ALL of your customers. You really do have a good product, if you can't afford the rent at this shop then it's time to move out to another suburb that's cheaper and has better better traffic, if you do and you start to operate reliably again then people will travel the distance and you won't loose trade. If you were to move to a suburb like Hornsby your rent would be cheaper and you would thrive because the local competition is absolutely appalling. The only main competitor that comes close is Chargrilled Charlie's and whilst admittedly they do make better sides and have a larger range of food, your BBQ chicken recipe is 20x better (no dispute) and that's the main trading point for a Chicken Shop.
