Poor service. I hope you never have car troubles and stumble upon this place. My transmission begin to slip coming from Pensacola. They were nice enough to give my family and I ride to a hotel. However, we were notified of how much the transmission was. I sent the deposit. Mind you, it took three days of me going back and forth to the bank to send the deposit because the wire transfer instructions were not clear AT ALL and the lady at McDaniel kept saying “she don’t know what else to do”. Unprofessional. Three days of going back and forth were wasted. Every few days for about three weeks after that, we would call for an update on the placement of a transmission. We kept getting the run around. It was very unethical and unprofessional of the lady at McDaniel to keep responding “I don’t know what else you want me to do” or “I don’t know” when I had sent thousands of dollars to get the problem fixed. They literally had no update and every excuse as to why my transmission was not being fixed. It was a complete WASTE OF TIME. Money is not an issue. When thousands of dollars have been transferred for a service, I expect it to be done in a timely manner OR have adequate updates on when that task should be completed. My family and I ended up just getting my towed back and taking it somewhere else. My truck had been sitting for a month with no services rendered. Just pray your car never gets stuck in this town and it has to go to this shop!! I’m sure you’ll never get your car back.
