First time visiting this restaurant last weekend. On entering it had a very authentic Indian style which was rather pleasant. We ordered 2 poppadoms, 2 mains, 2 rice and a naan bread. Our drinks consisted of a glass of wine and a non alcoholic beer. The poppadoms were fresh and crispy though there was only a small dish of yogurt and tomatoes, no chutney or other dips you would normally receive.Within minutes of the poppadoms arriving our mains were served. This was awkward and meant we had to make room on the window sill for the food.Basically served way too fast and not giving us time to eat our poppadom starter's.The food was adequate, perhaps a little too dry for my liking and though I did ask for medium spice it had no kick at all. When I paid by card, I was rather shocked at the price of the meal and to be honest rather wished I hadn't added a cash tip to the side plate they had at the register. In excess of €70.00This was what I would class as extortionate. The bottle of non alcoholic beer cost €7.00 alone ! You go out of your way to drive and are hit with prices like thisWe were charged for a chutney selection which we didn't receive,€5.00 for a basic naan bread , mains at €18.95 and plain rice an extra €7.95 . Needless to say I won't be making a return !!!
