New to the area, looking for a decent fish n chip shop and came across Rubicon Fish Shop.Looked busy, so thought, why not... What a mistake.Started the minute I opened the bag. Looked like a half serve compared to the fillet you normally get at a fish shop. Soon as I put my fork in it, I noticed it didn't crumble the way fish normally does. The fish fillet was no different to a piece of rubber, completely inedible. Never have I had a grilled fish so bad. In fact, if the serving of chips was the same, I wouldve given this shop 0 stars. If all you're after is some chips and maybe a potato cake or 2, no worries, or else, I would stay well clear of this shop. I won't be back.
