What a gem!!!!! We came to North Shields for two nights to visit my dads birthplace. He was born and raised in Shields but moved to Lancashire in the1960's.
We used to come a few times a year to see my grandparents but haven't been for many years since they passed.
My parents are now in their 80's and we thought we would have a visit to see how much Shields has changed. We stayed in a house on Queen Alexandra Rd which is literally round the corner from Scott and Wilson!
We went to Scott and Wilson for two breakfasts and one evening meal.
The food was phenomenal and the service was fantastic!!! So friendly and welcoming.
The Persian Eggs went down VERY well with my dad and the pancakes were a success with the three others in the party. The evening meal was just as delicious, a Scott burger and a Wilson burger, the katsu chicken and the vegetable skewers were all amazing!
Thank you for looking after us and hopefully we will return on our next visit to North Shields!
