Please do not use this restaurant out of principal.My brother-in-law called the restaurant to politely ask if they were dog friendly. Seeing as this in the Lake District and one would assume so however we wanted to be sure.Whoever answered the phone was rude and just put the phone down.We then tried again two days later and received exactly the same experience.We decided to turn up to the restaurant and were refused. I politely asked, “Okay so what if this dog was an assistance dog, would you allow that” The member of staff went to speak with the owner and then came back and said, “No dogs allowed at all, it doesn’t matter about what the dog does or is”Suggest the owner reads up on the Equality Act 2010 and trains the staff on this matter.
