[Uber Eats Delivery] Misleading descriptions of food items/dishes on Uber Eats, for example:
"40. Gai Yang
£8.95
Half whole chicken marinated in soya sauce, garlic, fresh coriander and thai herbs barbecued over charcoal"
What it actually arrived was a handful chicken strips that seemed like chicken breast, overcooked and dry, no way was there "Half whole chicken" as described, at best was around 150g of meat. When I called the restaurant, the explanation was that in fact there was half a chicken but it was deboned.
The side of chips I ordered was slightly burned on the outside and slightly undercooked on the inside, one of the worst "chips" experience I've ever had.
Another example:
"87. White Fish Sam Rod
£9.95
Crispy deep fried white fish top with sweet chilli sauce, basil, onions and peppers"
The fish was breaded strips (deep fried) but there was more batter on the fish than the actual fish and the portion extremely small portion both of protein as well as the side of rice, for a meal that altogether costed over £13. (the sticky rice was good though, but again fairly small portion)
All in all very dissapointing experience: average-low quality, small portions, high end prices and not very helpful customer service.
