The wood samaritan in Brunswick is a little cozy slice of Canadian mountain life in the middle of busy Lygon st.
The place is deceptively spacious and essentially three different bars in one, out front classic beers and wine on tap, alongside a decent cocktail and food menu (really like the Mac and cheese croquettes), take the party out to the back and welcome the Samaritan feels like a beer garden, head upstairs and the place feels like your having a house party with comfy leather couches , Canadian nostalgia and antlers everywhere.
