THIS IS NOT A FAKE REVIEW! Please note that I am a REAL person with a TREMENDOUSLY NEGATIVE experience of this company. Allow me to explain.
On Friday 6th March 2020 I received an email from somebody at this company promoting one of their products "talkwithlead". The proposal seemed interesting and they were offering a free trial, so I decided to sign up and give it a go. On Tuesday 17th March 2020 I logged in to my account to see how long I had on the free trial (I genuinely couldnt remember the length). The product was not working for me and I intended to cancel it if the trial was near the end, however it told me I had until April, so I left it running for the time being to see if it picks up.
On Friday 20th March 2020, to my surprise I woke to 2 text messages and 2 emails from them stating a payment had been declined (I had just paid all the bills and due to the current climate the business account was empty). Not only that but both emails were threatening to tarnish my credit file (which considering they have never provided me with credit is ridiculous!) and one of the emails even contained my password! So the review they have responded to previously stating they can not close accounts due to security as they dont know your password is absolute nonsense! I have worked with various systems for many years and all of them have full admin control on the user accounts. So yes you can close an account! I will not close it because they force you to click a big red button agreeing for them to tarnish your credit file if you do so.
I emailed them explaining that I will not click the aforementioned button, nor will I pay for a product I do not want. Their website gave incorrect information so this is not my fault. I have asked for them to close my account and confirm that my credit file will not be affected. They emailed back a very brief response basically offering me a discount to stay. They didnt even acknowledge what I said! I sent a response demanding again that they close my account and confirm about my credit file and they have not even responded. What I have received by now as I write this review on 22nd March 2020 are 10 automated threatening emails (2 of which containing my password!!) and I dont know how many texts as I have been forced to block their number.
I will make this crystal clear to this company, I will not tolerate this sort of behaviour or nonsense excuses. Your choices are simple.
a) Delete my account immediately, confirm my credit file will not be affected and leave me alone after that. If you choose this option I will amend this review to 3 stars informing people that you resolved the problem.
b) Continue down your path of abuse and harassment, falsely tarnish my credit file and keep yet another 1 star review (they cant all be fake!) If you choose this option I will send all evidence required to Equifax and similar bodies to restore my credit file and I will also take legal action against you for this highly unprofessional behaviour.
Just to clarify for anyone reading this, THIS REVIEW IS VERY REAL INDEED! Please tread very carefully when dealing with this company, even during this international crisis they are unscrupulous in their methods. Hopefully I will shortly be amending this review with a positive outcome, but to be honest, I wont hold my breath.
