The starters were exceptional and the service was very quick and prompt. The food is very well presented. Unfortunately the main was not edible, the carbonara was dry and overcooked. The duck was ok, acceptable despite the price but again overcooked. The dessert was awful. The sticky toffee pudding was unservable. Two of us shared it and we couldn't finish. My girlfriend, who is a chef, said she wouldn't serve it to anyone let alone paying customers.However the manager was very accommodating towards us and took the main and dessert off the bill and also did agree with us that the dessert was not to standard. We Could not fault them for that.A 2 star seems a little harsh because the service was very good. However, had we not complained we would have had 2 awful courses at a really high price.Very good for starters but other than that the food is awful and extremely overpriced. It's close to Michelin restaurant prices but without the quality.
