Had my haircut at Le Bolivar this morning (July 4). My favourite place to go just got better! With the corona virus on everyones mind, they adjusted the interior by eliminating the waiting area, moving it outdoors. If its bad weather, you can wait in your car.
Then they increased the space between chairs, and installed six foot high by 3ft deep plexiglass shields between chairs. I kinda like that, because it also gives you a modicum of privacy, unlike before, when it was all open space.
All four barbers and coiffures now wear masks, and for their safety, clients must wear masks too. They did an amazing job clipping and styling my hair, and my barber, Diane, had me hold one side of my mask as she trimmed my sideburns.
They reopened on June 15th. Small and intimate, had a great cut. Im glad theyre back!
