I didn’t want to even award 1 star.Dreadful food and dreadful staff. The restaurant should be closed down. Black battered cod.I would not even feed a stray dog with this rubbish these people call food!Here, the fish and chips are fried in dirty oil that has been used again and again, probably for months before it is changed. Full of disgusting flavours!! Also our order took over 30 mins to arrive and we were famished!I asked the waitress about the black batter and she admitted that the oil was black and dirty!!I asked to speak to the chef who refused to talk to me, but instead he told the waitress that I didn’t know what I was talking about. I could hear him from the kitchen.My friend and I witnessed him using his hands to put food on the plate!Good people, If you care for your health DO NOT EAT THIS DESPICABLE FOOD AND WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. These people are ignorant and totally incompetent.They have no idea! Very rude! I asked the manager to refund our meals which we had tasted. He only refunded us with £3 for a £30 order of food!I told him that I would be contacting the Retail Ombudsman to which he shrugged his shoulders and left the table.Afterwards we read other reviews. In hindsight we should have read them beforehand. Many bad reviews. So why has the management not addressed these problems?Close this restaurant and get rid of the staff- especially the incompetent ignorant chef and dreadful manager who had no idea what the retail ombudsman meant!
