This place is newly opened and we decided to give it a try for Sunday lunch, was seated quickly, nobody else in but we were virtually tucked under the stairs, comfortable enough.
We were offered drinks menu and received the menus, choice of food was very good, we ordered two roast beef lunches along with a couple of glasses of wine. The wine was pretty pleasant and on a par with most paces for price.
There was quite a wait for the food but when it did arrive it was very good indeed, the meat was not fall apart tender but it was very flavoursome, vegetables were very good, though some were a little on the cool side, goose fat potatoes were excellent and a very good Yorkshire pudding.
I think they are still finding their feet and some of the staff need to gain a little more experience but I think we will definitely be back again
