We’ve been supporting The Four Seasons for some years now, usually on a Friday or Saturday. The quality of the food is excellent and always piping hot, where required.
Unfortunately Saturday last they fell well short of ‘normal’ for customer service.
Let me explain, we ordered what we usually have to include a sweet and sour chicken for myself. Now the first issue is if you order for a particular time and have guests, it’s very hit and miss as to the food arriving on time, even with plenty of notice it can be over an hour late!
Secondly, on Saturday they delivered a pork sweet and sour, a simple mistake, and it was replaced within 30 mins of a phone call.
Very efficient despite my wife having finished her meal, and it arrived with no rice or sauce… Another phone call, I was told I’d had the rice and sauce and if I wanted more I’d have to pay for it, but the rice and sauce were plated and now cold after 30mins In the big picture how much does boiled rice and a tub of sweet and sour sauce cost to complete a meal which they got wrong
I drove to The Four Seasons and returned the chicken balls and expressed my dissatisfaction only to be confronted by an older lady who had immense issues in understanding who was the customer!
In short, fabulous food but can be appalling after service and time keeping needs improvement! I’ll vote with my feet, it’s a shame as the food is excellent.
