So people I have chatted to in the past have highly recommended this place. We were starving and went in and ordered, expecting great fish and chips - the wife came out with chips and battered sausage and fish and chips twice, mushy peas and curry. This came to around £30! I was shocked at the astronomical price. Basically its £10 for fish and chips and that is taking the micky to be honest. I wish I had studied the prices first before going head first into an order.The chips were ok but not amazing, they weren't soft and greasy, very light coloured and very similar to how you would home cook chips in your own chip pan from fresh potatoes.The fish (the most important) was pale yellow batter, very greasy and something about the fish was dry as well - not sure if it was very fresh or just not cooked right. It was a real disappointment, and for the price, just simply a bit of a joke.Battered sausage seemed good enough as were mushy peas. Curry sauce was a thin sauce, it was fine.Portion size was good.All in all, for the price and quality of the fish - I just wouldn't bother going - what a shame.
