A fun local pub that exudes charm, character, and kindness.Recommended by a local resident, we stopped by the pub recently on a Saturday night. As Americans, it was what we expected and hoped for in a local establishment. The place was electric because the Ireland-Scotland football match was on the television.What we had not expected was the kindness of the owner, Mr. Bonner.Having spent the day in Donegal Town, we were hungry and thirsty. The pub could address our thirst but not our hunger. Mr. Bonner took it upon himself to make sure that we received a plate of food from the wedding reception occurring in the establishment's upper floor.Needless to say, we were amazed at Mr. Bonner's graciousness...until we were told that Mr. Bonner always looks after people in the community.As we relive our adventure for our friends here in America, we talk about the beautiful scenery of Ireland which is only exceed by its incredibly gracious and kind citizens.Many thanks to everyone we encountered during our stay for an amazing trip!
